We are seeking an experienced Consulting Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the Accounting Finance industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced, challenging environment. As a Consulting Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of accountants, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing end-of-month closing processes, and assisting with annual budget planning and grant accounting. If you are a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a drive for success, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including managing a team of accountants and ensuring all financial tasks are completed accurately and on time. Coordinate and execute end-of-month closing processes, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and completed within deadlines. Conduct thorough GL reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Assist with the planning and execution of the annual budget, including forecasting and analyzing financial trends. Manage all aspects of grant accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, using your expertise to inform decision-making processes. Continually review and improve accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in the Accounting Finance industry. Proven experience with financial reporting, GL reconciliations, end-of-month closing processes, annual budget planning, and grant accounting. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity, with a commitment to upholding company values and ethical standards. Interested in hearing more?
