Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a dedicated and
experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare
team. This is currently a 32 house a week position that offers a
unique opportunity to work in the exciting field of Dermatology.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing
excellent service to our patients, maintaining the smooth operation
of our front office, and contributing to our mission of delivering
high-quality healthcare. Responsibilities: As a Front Desk
Receptionist, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Welcoming
patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner, and promptly
addressing their needs. 2. Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling
appointments as needed, using our electronic medical records
system. 3. Answering incoming calls, providing accurate
information, and directing calls to appropriate staff members. 4.
Verifying and updating patient information, ensuring all records
are accurate and up-to-date. 5. Processing patient payments,
explaining billing procedures, and handling insurance matters. 6.
Facilitating patient flow by communicating with patients,
physicians, and other staff members, and managing delays or
cancellations. 7. Maintaining the reception area, ensuring it is
clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. 8. Assisting
with administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, faxing, and
filing. 9. Adhering to all confidentiality regulations, HIPAA
guidelines, and office policies. 10. Collaborating with the
healthcare team to improve patient experiences and office
efficiency. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Front Desk
Receptionist position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front
desk role, preferably within the healthcare industry. 2. Specific
experience in a dermatology setting is highly desirable. 3.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the
ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other
healthcare professionals. 4. Familiarity with electronic medical
records systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 5.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask,
prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. 6. A high level of
professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all
times. 7. Knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, and
insurance policies. 8. A patient-focused approach, with the ability
to provide excellent customer service even in stressful situations.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field
or additional certifications will be an added advantage. This is an
