Astrodynamics Intern Company: Millennium Space Systems Millennium

we know each one of us made it happen. In this role, the intern
will work alongside the astrodynamics team to support mission
analysis tasks for several programs. This will include expanding
the test coverage of in-house astrodynamics software in Matlab and
Python, improving and optimizing modeling and simulation tools to
run more efficiently, and assisting in the development of new tools
and demonstrations. The intern will improve and expand upon our
growing in-house mod and sim capabilities while gaining experience
in orbital mechanics, orbit determination, maneuver planning,
rendezvous, constellation design, coverage analysis, and cislunar
modeling. Over the course of our 10-12 week internship experience
you will have the opportunity to: Write unit test functions for
in-house astrodynamics software. Develop illustrative examples and
tutorials for core astrodynamics tools Build automated test suites
for select programs Develop one or more new astrodynamics tools
Present work to the engineering team at the end of summer This
position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will
be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
These positions must meet U.S. export control compliance
requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements,
a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S.
Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee. Additionally, some positions may
require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the
U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skill/Experience): Ability to work full-time for 10-12
weeks during Summer 2026 Pursuing Aerospace engineering or
equivalent major Proficient with MATLAB and Python Experience using
GMAT Enrolled student attending a college or university with an
expected graduation date on or after August 2026 Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Strong academic
performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above) Exceptional
organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through
leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic
organizations Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through
technical projects, research or engineering internships Exceptional
communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to
engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing Junior or Senior
class standing Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the
