teams. As a Facilities Protection Manager – Manager Level 1 located
in Redondo Beach, CA , you’ll be a linchpin in missions of
paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day
one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate
telecommute work. This position will work 2nd shift. Job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Oversee SCC that monitors various security alarms and video cameras
Responsible for ensuring the SCC is efficient in daily operations
Dispatch Security Officers to medical emergencies, building
evacuations, and other incidents requiring uniformed Security
Officers Conduct security post checks to ensure Security Officers
are performing their duties in compliance with departmental and
company policies Oversee random vehicle inspections as directed by
security management Establish regular security inspections and
coordinates with firefighting and law-enforcement agencies Schedule
Security Officers for overtime and escorting duties Responsible for
preparing and maintaining various logs, journals, and reports
Conducts on-the-job field training for Security Officers Conduct
security-related lineup briefings Communicate daily with Security
Officers and Security Management Demonstrates sound judgment in
applying security expertise to resolve security-related issues
Assist in the Security Control Center and perform other related
duties as assigned Conducts security-related duties as directed by
security management Assist security managers in ensuring security
policies and regulations are enforced and observed at all times
Communicate effectively, orally and in writing to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, employees,
and customers Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional security experience
– OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional security
experience Will consider an additional four years of security work
experience in lieu of a degree Requires an active U.S. Government
DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current
and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special
Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
Ability to sit, walk, and stand for prolonged periods of time Valid
United States Driver's License Preferred Qualifications: Top
Secret/SCI clearance Active California Guard card As a leader with

Primary Level Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
