knowledge.Job DescriptionAbout the role:Are you looking for a
patient-focused, innovation-driven company to inspire you and
empower you to shine? Join us as an MES Technical Manager -in our
Los Angles, CA, reporting to the Sr. Director, IT Business Partner,
and FoF. You will work with the plant MES Business Owner to
prioritize MES projects with the plant leadership team. Oversee
successful deployment of MES infrastructure and application life
cycle management. The candidate will engage with the global MES
team, MBR designer, technical developers, IT Infrastructure team,
quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to promote the
delivery of the MES system. Work with the global Data, Digital &
Technology teams to ensure plant-level MES data can be consumed.How
you will contribute:
- You will include supporting the manufacturing site by:
- Establish and influence the MES roadmap with the site our
strategy and the global MES team.
- Manage the MES projects for the site
- Manage the expectations and communications with essential
collaborators in manufacturing and engineering
- Manage the MES project budget
- Approve system changes
- Resolve MES issues affecting manufacturing
- Ensuring MES incidents/tickets are meeting defined Service
level agreements.
- Participate with the global MES team to ensure understanding
and collaborationWhat you bring to Takeda:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information
Technology or Systems related field. 6+ years of related experience
with 1+ years as a supervisor (for people manager role)
- In general, your work will be a combination of sedentary work &
walking around observing conditions in the facility,
- Position responsible for hands-on execution of all activities
in any of the (prod/lab/office) areas assigned to work on
computers. May need to climb ladders approx. 3 times per year.
- Excessive (5-6 hrs.)work on the computer (will need to
self-monitor each hour to stand/walk away for a few minutes to
stretch and relax)
- On occasion may push up to 50 lbs on a cart. (*assistance
recommended with any lift/carry)
- Will work in controlled environments requiring special gowning.
Will follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over
the head, face, hands, feet, and body
- No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, or artificial
fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.
- Will work in a cold and wet environment.
- , including weekends to support our needs and project
activities.
- Non-Exempt Roles only: Can work overtime.
