Anaheim, United States - Posted on 04/21/2025We are looking for an experienced R&D Manager to lead product development and innovation for a growing cosmetics manufacturer. This role requires 7-12 years of hands-on experience in formulation, testing, and product launch cycles, especially in skincare, personal care, or makeup categories.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new cosmetic formulations from concept through production
• Manage product testing, stability studies, and ingredient compatibility evaluations
• Work closely with the regulatory team to ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations (FDA, EU, etc.)
• Oversee scale-up trials and provide technical guidance to production teams
• Analyze market trends and collaborate with marketing and sales to align development goals
• Manage and mentor a small team of formulation scientists or lab techniciansQualifications:
  • 7-12 years of experience in cosmetic R&D or formulation development
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials, skin biology, and product performance testing
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects from R&D through commercialization
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field preferred
