Description Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse the GI Technician provides care to all patients, including pediatrics, adults and geriatrics by assisting the team during GI procedures. Must demonstrate independence and competence in the duties on a variety of procedures. The GI Technician assists the team in preparing case set-up and equipment during the case assists the physician and clean up thereafter. Required Qualifications: Graduate of Accredited Surgical Technologist School or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 2 years experience in GI Lab Preferred Qualifications: Upon hire: CST Certification (Certified Surgical Technologist) Upon hire: Instrument Technologist Certification Why Join Providence?
