Job Description Lucid Therapeutics — Santa Barbara, CA Schedule: 3 days a week, Monday & Thursday 1 additional day: 8:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m. Status: Part-time with a clear path to full-time Lucid Therapeutics is hiring a Client Assistant to support patient care in our Santa Barbara clinic. This is a clinical, in-person role that functions similarly to a medical assistant. Formal MA certification is not required, but candidates must be comfortable working in a healthcare environment and following clinical protocols. We are looking for someone reliable, grounded, and comfortable in a professional medical setting. Schedule Requirements (Please Read Carefully) This role requires: Mandatory availability on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m. One additional full weekday (8:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m.) to start This is not a partial-day role. Full-day availability is required. There is a clear path to full-time within approximately 3 months based on clinic needs and fit. Compensation & Benefits $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience and fit Once transitioned to full-time, benefits include: Healthcare coverage Paid vacation 10 paid holidays Role Responsibilities Support patient flow and daily clinic operations Take and record vital signs (training provided) Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly Prepare treatment rooms and assist clinicians as needed Maintain a calm, professional clinical environment Provide compassionate, appropriate support to patients during visits Ideal Background We are especially interested in candidates who: Have prior experience in a medical, clinical, or healthcare-adjacent role Are comfortable with documentation and structured processes Understand professional boundaries in a healthcare setting Are dependable and able to commit to consistent weekday availability Are interested in growing within a clinical environment This role is best suited for someone seeking meaningful experience in healthcare rather than a short-term or student role.
