Job Description Job Description Remote Family Law Attorney Remote Family Law Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide skilled representation and guidance in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings. This fully remote role offers flexibility while requiring strong communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and a commitment to effective client advocacy. Key Responsibilities Conduct client consultations to assess legal needs and outline case strategies Perform legal research to support case preparation and representation Draft, file, and review family law documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements Represent clients in virtual or in-person court hearings, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations Manage case files and maintain organized documentation throughout the case lifecycle Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and other written materials with clarity and accuracy Handle trial preparation, including evidence organization and witness preparation Negotiate settlements with the goal of achieving favorable outcomes for clients Qualifications Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction Demonstrated experience in family law, including litigation and mediation Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent communication and client consultation abilities Effective negotiation and mediation skills Proven ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
