Job Description:

A heavy equipment service and repair company, who supports a paving construction company and two aggregate plants, is seeking to hire a full-time Bilingual Parts Clerk. This position seeks out and purchases the required parts, supplies, or services in a timely and cost effective manner for the organization. The Bilingual Parts Clerk is responsible for the execution and facilitation of the entire purchasing cycle and supervision of the company runners.


The Candidate will be expected to work in team and independent environments, have a high level of interpersonal skills, and a strong, professional work ethic. Required Skill Sets:


* Bilingual: English/Spanish

* Excellent customer service.

* Effective verbal and listening skills.

* Good communication skills.

* Moderate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include (but are not limited to) the following:


* Purchasing parts, supplies, or services.

* Inventory management.

* Generate and manage purchase orders.

* Developing and maintaining vendor relationships.

* Supervise and manage employee runners.

* Work closely with shop employees and office management.


Desired Experience:


* Knowledge of automotive parts.

* Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn.

* Knowledge in functions and applications of mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.


Compensation:


* Salary will be commensurate within the listed compensation range based on qualifications and experience.

Special Considerations/Requirements:


* Must be trainable.

* Must have a valid driver's Class C License.

* Position also requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds unassisted.

* This position may occasionally load and unload trucks, operate a forklift and perform other tasks in outdoor elements


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $18.50 - $26.00 per hour
