Job Description:
A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist Associate
to manage prior authorization processes and insurance
verifications.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate between Revenue Cycle teams, providers, and patients
regarding service activities
Complete precertification and ensure communication with providers
and staff for peer reviews and denials
Assist with financial matters and resolve issues related to
insurance, billing, and collections
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required
Experience in financial services regulatory environments is
preferred
Certification(s) and License(s) may be required based on specific
duties
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
