Job Description:
A company is looking for an AVP, Data Science (L11).
Key Responsibilities:
Execute machine learning use cases including model prioritization,
development, testing, and deployment
Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models while
managing a team of data scientists
Extract and manipulate datasets from source systems and manage
projects with proactive stakeholder communication
Required Qualifications:
BS or MS in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a
related quantitative field with 6+ years of hands-on analytics/data
science experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a
degree
6+ years of experience with SQL, SAS/Python, Pyspark, Scala, and
Hive Tools, and proficiency in machine learning algorithms
Experience in automating ML model training processes and handling
large datasets
Background in the US credit card or banking industry
Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of business aspects related
to financial drivers and credit card dynamics
