Position Type: Student Worker Department: Marketing Overview: Edit all video content for La Sierra’s social media and YouTube platforms—including Shorts, Reels, TikToks, podcasts, and long-form content. Ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced editing, visual storytelling, and finding creative ways to turn raw footage into eye-catching content. Responsibilities: - Edit vertical short-form videos (5–30 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts - Edit long-form videos including interviews, campus features, podcasts, and tours - Add captions, music, and graphics to all videos - Transcribe videos for accessibility and SEO - Use AI tools to clip and repurpose long-form videos into snackable content - Organize, label, and maintain a video content library - Collaborate with podcast producers, social media managers, and the marketing team to align on tone, strategy, and deadlines Ideal Skills: - Experience with Adobe Premiere and CapCut (or similar tools) - Organized and efficient in handling multiple projects - Good eye for storytelling and social-friendly pacing - Comfortable learning AI tools like VEO 3 or similar platforms Pay Rate: 16.90/hr.
