Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Wood Truss Estimator to
provide accurate estimations of roof and floor truss components for
various projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare bid and reference information using MiTek and other design
software
Review takeoffs and calculations for accuracy and optimize designs
for cost
Assist in training and development of other estimators as
required
Required Qualifications
Two or more years of wood truss design or estimating experience
with a truss manufacturer
Experience with MiTek software is required for remote work
Minimum high school graduate; preferred two-year or bachelor's
degree in a related discipline
Experience in the construction industry, including framing
Strong math skills and ability to read and understand
blueprints
