DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the Real Estate - Planning, Design, and Construction team. This role plays a crucial part in managing accounting ledgers, budget development, project expenditures, and capital funding requests. Primary responsibilities include:* Coordinating construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M in collaboration with the Capital Programs team.* Reconciling financial ledgers to ensure accuracy.* Preparing annual budgets for capital projects.* Developing and maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track project expenditures and ensure adherence to the budget; preparing budget variance reports.* Processing capital funding requests efficiently.AboutReal Estate - Planning, Design & Construction manages building master planning and construction for UCLA Health. From replacing end-of-life imaging equipment to building out new clinics in the community, we are dedicated to supporting UCLA Health's commitment to deliver leading edge patient care, education and research.The full hourly salary range for this position is $76,200.00 - $158,800.00/year. Please note - the department's target pay range is $87,000 - $105,000/year.
Qualifications* At least 3 years of professional experience in a financial role, with a solid understanding of financial analysis, accounting, and/or budget preparation.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.* Demonstrated intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.* Experience with design and construction projects preferred.
