designing, developing, and launching innovative Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) , with a specific emphasis on work gloves . The

Support the planning and implementation of product development
initiatives for PPE and work gloves, ensuring they align with
market trends, company objectives, and customer requirements.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify
industry trends, gaps, and emerging technologies in PPE and work
gloves. Oversee quality control measures, alongside QC team and
ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, regulations, and
certifications. Monitor product performance post-launch, tracking
customer satisfaction, feedback, and sales metrics, and implement
improvements, as necessary. Establish and track key performance
indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive actionable
insights. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sourcing,
Sales, Customer Service, etc.) and external partners to
conceptualize new product ideas and refine existing offerings.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure products meet safety
standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications
(e.g., ANSI, ASTM standards). Develop prototypes, oversee the
testing process, and collaborate closely with industrial designers,
engineers, and material experts to improve design. Stay up to date
with the latest safety regulations, industry standards, and
compliance requirements for PPE and work gloves. Requirements High
school diploma/GED or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in
industrial design, Arts and Product Design, Materials Science, or a
related field preferred. 3 years of experience in product
development, with at least 2 years in managing product development
for PPE, work gloves, or industrial safety products preferred.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and
collaboration skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking
skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Initiative-taker, collaborator, strong follow up skills with a
sense of urgency, and must be deadline oriented. Customer-centric
and innovative, with excellent design and conceptual skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe
Illustrator. SAS Cerritos salary range: $70,500 - $76,000 based on
experience, education, and geographic location. So, what are you
